For as long as I can remember, Tennis has been in my life!
Growing up as a competitive athlete, tennis has played a significant role in shaping the person I am today. Through competitive tennis I was exposed to many different cultures and amazing opportunities.
I grew up playing tennis nonstop and travelling all over Australia for tournaments. In my late teens, I trained under the National Academy and I was ranked inside the top 10 for my age group in Australia. I also ranked in the top 100 in the Australian Men’s. I played in the ITF scene and earnt international points, however, my priority was division 1 college tennis. I played at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, leading my team at the number one position in both singles and doubles. My most memorable moment in tennis was winning the Pardey Shield in my hometown of Tasmania. It is the most prestigious tennis tournament in Tasmania, with over 100 years of history.
While pursuing a career as a tennis coach, I worked in various academies and country clubs in the USA as well as Australia, with a primary focus on high performance and junior coaching. I clearly have a lot of passion towards tennis and hope to share this through my coaching while developing a permanent career for myself. I’m adaptable and enthusiastic, these characteristics combined with my knowledge of the sport, I’m well equipped to provide quality coaching to anyone willing to get on court and give it a go!
