Jerry Weng
Assistant Coach
During a young age, I was introduced to badminton which allowed me to discover my passion for any racquet sport there is. I started playing tennis at the age of 12 and ever since I have fallen in love with the game. Not long after I was playing 4 times a week with my dad. Since then I have played in Interclub and tournament matches to improve my skills in tennis. Each tournament I participated in expressed my passion for the game and the continuous interests I had in playing against players who were better than me. I enjoy watching Grand Slam events like the Australian Open and Roland Garros because of its intensity and the atmosphere that it brings. Roger Federer is my favorite player to watch and copy as his style of play is admirable and beautiful. Tennis has also taught me to be patient and cool minded which allows me to take on challenges throughout my studies and life.
In 2021 I joined Campbells Bay Tennis Club and was introduced to Kiwi Tennis. I was then offered an opportunity to help and become an assistant coach.
Hope to see you soon on the courts!
