My tennis journey began at the age of eleven following in the footsteps of my parents. During my tennis career, I have been fortunate enough to represent my club, Oakura, in the Taranaki Premier competition, captain the New Plymouth Boys’ High School tennis team in the prestigious ‘Super 8’ competition and represent Taranaki in both junior and senior representative competitions.
I moved to Palmerston North where I attained a Bachelor Degree in Sports Management from Massey University. During my time at university, I was actively involved in the tennis scene. This included part-time coaching at both Fielding Tennis Club and Manawatu Lawn Tennis Club and training with local representative players.
After university, I moved to Melbourne to take up a senior coaching role with Elsternwick Park Tennis Centre. I was able to develop my coaching skills amongst a team of coaches from across the world.
Outside of tennis, my hobbies include basketball, rugby, golf and spending time outdoors with my mates.
