NATHAN CARTER
Head of Player Pathways
Introduced to Tennis at a very young age by his father, Nathan played junior tennis at a national and international level. Unfortunately an injury at 18 forced him into retirement early into his professional career.
Nathan has been a full time coach ever since, spending the first 6 years coaching in London, at the Sutton Tennis Academy, working with some of the best junior players in the UK, both male and female. Players ranged from those playing U14 to WTA/ATP Tours. Returning to Auckland in 2014, Nathan worked at Tennis Auckland briefly, and is now working as a private coach to some of the best juniors, and the top NZ female player, Valentina Ivanov.
Nathan joins Kiwi Tennis as Head of Player Pathways working in conjunction with our Head Coaches, Senior Coaches and the Performance Team to build a pathway from grassroots to performance.
