Football (soccer) has been a big part of Tom’s life. Through football, Tom was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study and play at the University of Washington on an athletic scholarship. Highlights during his time there would have to be winning the PAC-12 Conference in 2013 and claiming the number 1 RPI ranking in the nation for a period of time in 2013 & 2014. After graduating, Tom came back to New Zealand to work for NZ Football as the assistant manager for the All Whites. In 2016 the All Whites qualified for the 2017 Confederations Cup held in Russia by winning the OFC Nations Cup. Another focus Tom has found interest in is coaching.
Tom is passionate about helping young football players in the recruiting process for US colleges and assisting them to find the best school that fits them as an individual. Tom had the best 4-year experience possible playing at the collegiate level and it’s something that he wants other kiwi football players to experience as well.
